ABOUT IMPERIAL CATERING

We love to cook, we love to feed people, and we especially love to create healthy and delicious food. Since we believe that organic, natural, and homemade meals taste better and are better for you, we believe our clients and their guests would enjoy meals prepared in this fashion. "Love-Infused Food", our mantra, serves as the one abiding rule throughout our menus. We consider this the “secret ingredient” that brings back the comfort and warmth found in your grandmother’s homemade apple pie or your great uncle’s brunswick stew.

We have over 40 years of combined experience between the owner, executive chef, and assistant executive chef alone, not to mention the countless years of experience of our nearly 40 employees. Our backgrounds are plentiful and vast, ranging from fine dining restaurants, coffee shops and four-diamond hotels, pastry chefs to bartenders, artists to teachers. We enjoy the encouragement and development of new and creative ideas that comes from having such a widely diverse group of people.

In the same manner that we enjoy bringing health to our clients through our foods, we also enjoy bringing health to the community around us by making globally conscious decisions each and every day. In addition to recycling at all of our events, we encourage the use of compostable plastics and practice composting whenever possible. We strongly discourage the use of bottled water at events and encourage our staff to carpool to event sites. We have used nearly 90% found materials for the renovations of our new storefront, and are implementing LED lights where ever possible to decrease our carbon footprint. We even encourage direct deposit with electronic pay stubs for our employees in an effort to minimize paper waste. Food service establishments create extreme amounts of waste, and we are working with VaGreen to change the wasteful practices of businesses in Virginia.
